Based in Connecticut, Paul Kauffman leads Colony Realty Advisors, LLC, as president and founder, drawing on over four decades of experience in commercial real estate. Through the firm’s national and international practice, Connecticut resident Paul Kauffman works only with tenants and companies. He established the business in 2025 after holding positions at two other commercial property firms.
Mr. Kauffman’s advisory work includes lease renewals and decisions about relocating operations. He helps companies consider expansion, consolidation, and their longer-term real estate requirements. Listening to clients and understanding their priorities and future objectives are central to his approach. His work includes considering property decisions from the perspective of the businesses he represents.
Before founding Colony Realty Advisors, Mr. Kauffman was an executive managing director with Jones Lang LaSalle. Earlier in his career, his 28 years at Cushman & Wakefield included serving as executive director and responsibilities involving acquisitions, leasing, and sales. He holds a bachelor’s degree in real estate from the University of Connecticut.
